Dog Photography

Dogs deserve great photos too!

Who’s a Good Boy?

Anyone can take photos, but not everyone can do justice to man’s best friend. Every dog is different, but they all deserve the time and attention an experienced dog photographer can offer.

In the Studio

Nothing captures the majestic nature of man’s best friend quite like a formal studio portrait. Classic and creative backgrounds, props, and “poses” set these studio photos apart from the typical dog photos.

We can either shoot in my small basement studio, or I can bring my studio to you. I have all the lights, backgrounds, and other studio equipment necessary. You just bring the dog.

Studio dog photography pricing starts at $175 for a 30-minute shoot, online proofing gallery, and a $50 credit towards the purchase of digital files, prints, or a combination of the two.

In the Field

My specialty is photographing bird dogs at work. Whether running the upland field, waiting patiently in the duck blind, or in competition at field trials and hunt tests, these dogs happiest when they are working. Nothing beats the intensity of a dog on point, watching birds go down, or solving a complex hunt test setup.

I offer individual shoots on location, as well as coverage for club events, field trials, and hunt tests. Heck, I’ll even tag along on your next hunt if you’d like.

Due to the variable nature of field photography shoots, pricing will be via custom quote. Contact me today to get started planning our next adventure.

At Home

There is no question that our dogs are part of our families, and often the best place to photograph them is where they are the most comfortable - at home.

Much like a family shoot, I can come to your home and take photograph as you and your family interact with your four-legged family members on their home turf. Toys, balls, kids, squirrels - anything is fair game during our shoot.

In-home dog photography pricing starts at $225 for a one hour shoot, online proofing gallery, and a $75 credit towards the purchase of digital files, prints, or a combination of the two.
